About

Just Justice explores the journey of activist, coach, and Black man of trans experience, Justice Roe Williams, who puts his own body on the line, further delaying top surgery, even as his revolutionary fitness practices invite each of us to glimpse in the mirror a more tolerant, inclusive world. As an activist, Justice Roe Williams’s journey toward liberation compelled him to fight one battle at a time: the Black fight, the queer, the trans fight. What he wanted, and has come to embody through his inclusive fitness practices, is a way to bring us together—each in our own way—to collectively free our bodies from our own prejudices and those of the societies in which we live. Beginning with his experiences growing up Black and queer in Atlantic City, his life-long struggles with racism and poverty, his championing of the disenfranchised, his gender transition, and ultimately his career shift from community advocate to inclusive fitness coach, Justice’s story shows us what it takes to embrace who we really are. Justice’s generous vision, reflected in a revolutionizing of the fitness industry, invites each of us to glimpse in the mirror a more tolerant, diverse, and inclusive world.
