Internationally acclaimed tenor, Karim Sulayman, is seeking funding for ongoing recording projects to add to the catalogue of great recordings exploring standard and obscure repertoire, focusing on the tenor's passion and penchant for interesting and original programming.
The next project is a program of Schubert Lieder to be recorded with a Schubert era fortepiano, with the acclaimed fortepianist, Yi-heng Yang. The program explores a journey through night guided by moon and stars, encountering all the visions, real and imaginary, and emotions that come under the veil of night.
Karim Sulayman's debut solo album, Songs of Orpheus, partially funded with the help of Fractured Atlas, was released on the AVIE label in April 2018 to international critical acclaim and was honored with the GRAMMY® Award for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album in February 2019.
