Kintsugi Quintet is a chamber ensemble with the atypical instrumentation of oboe, clarinet, violin, viola and double bass. Kintsugi Quintet seeks to unlock the musical potential within its hybrid instrumentation and share it through thoughtful programming and the dynamic performance of contemporary works, reimagined masterpieces, and bold commissions. Kintsugi seeks to share these performances in and outside of the concert hall, bringing a novel yet welcoming chamber music experience to community "third spaces" like bars, cafes, libraries and schools.
