About

My work as a composer flows out of my passionate love for classical music and my desire to invest in the future of the repertory through creating new works that deeply satisfy the appetites of classical music listeners.

My current project, "Renewal," is an album of new chamber music (two string quartets and one piano trio). I have chosen the title "Renewal" because the music on this album is the fruit of turning over a new page as a composer, digging deeper into the forms and vocabulary of the historic classical music tradition, and delving into some of the deepest themes of human existence - time, birth, life, death, and love.

The compositions are all completed and you can listen to archival recordings of live performances below. Our goal is to produce a new, professional studio recording to be released on the major digital streaming services and in CD format. Your support will catalyze the process of rehearsing, recording, and releasing this album.

"Renewal" will be the first installment in my ongoing series of newly commissioned and recorded musical compositions in all of the major classical music genres. Your partnership in this venture will contribute to the flourishing of the audiences, performers, and students of classical music - both in the present and in the future. I look forward to our collaboration!
