L'ORAGE

We are grieving the passing of Deborah Masters (Sweet Soul in Exile).  We never stopped working with her on the odyssey of Blues for 475 . (Blues for 475 is the story of 300 artist families torn from their building in five hours and what happens to them in the following years. It features the late Connie Crothers and  Deborah Masters) Blues for 475 is even more relevant given our current housing crisis. Thanks to your generosity we now have what was needed for post production.  In it's first stages of development it was screened at the UN in Geneva Switzerland at the Universal Periodic Revue of Human Rights. As we proceed we are confident of it's success.

Always Here (working title), (research/development) brings attention to the systemic practices that promote the destruction and cultural erasure of Indigenous history.  Always Here was inspired by an online petition to save a 10,000 year old Native American village site in Massachusetts that was threatened by development. Government agencies took the land from the Skibiski family in order to build a roundabout on the sensitive area despite an archeological report that confirmed its historical significance. Public outcry stopped the destruction... for now. What we discovered was the tip of the iceberg. 
 We are down the rabbit hole with the help of our cultural advisors, tribal historical preservation officers, archeologists, lawyers, museums, collectors and community groups.  We have filmed in most of the North Eastern States as well as Virginia and Kentucky. Tyler was invited to present selections of the work at the Northeastern Anthropological Association event at two Colleges. Our award winning documentary, A Castle in Brooklyn, King Arthur, with Brian Cox (Succession) as Narrator, has a new trailer!  We were considering cutting the film to ninety minutes but decided against it. We are currently remaking the credits and uprezing the film to 4K for release. It will be screened at festivals that awarded it as "an out of competition event."
