La Feria is an arts and culture publication focused on the borough of Queens in New York City, known colloquially as "The World's Borough."
We want to tell stories that capture and transmit the essence of Queens as an under-appreciated working class, multicultural hub representing the Global South. At the same time, we want to document, in real time, the transformation of Queens as gentrification takes hold throughout the borough.
La Feria is a critical platform to hold the complexities of Queens, and by extension, the world. It's a global conversation, block by block.
