Founded in 2022, La forza delle stelle is a period-instrument orchestra based in Montclair, New Jersey. We specialize in music from the Baroque era, spanning (approximately) the years 1600 to 1750.
We also want to help others learn more about what historically-informed performance is and why we think it’s important. We believe that Baroque music sounds the best on the original instruments it was written for and we can’t wait to show our audiences why through exciting concerts full of intriguing music played on period instruments!
