This narrative short film intends to push the audience to start conversations about what family truly means to them, using a young black girl's search for the truth to open a dialogue surrounding multicultural identity. By exploring her personal journey, the film highlights the universal trade of innocence for knowledge that we all experience as we grow up. Ultimately, this project hones in on the deep specifics of an individual story to amplify the profound, undeniable ways we are all connected as humans.
