A 24-foot sculpted PHOENIX using metal, wood, color, and light, to be erected on what our communities experienced as the day the Calf Canyon/Hermit’s Peak fire was finally declared as contained. The project is intended to invigorate the spirit of community in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas as it looks back at the difficulty of the last year – setting our sights on growth, newness, and a firm resolve toward a better horizon.
