Legitimate Child is a new 14-song work for voice, nylon-string guitar, acoustic drums, and sound design, composed in Columbus and shaped by growing up in Central Ohio. In April 2027, singer-songwriter Chris Gatton returns to present the work in a free Columbus performance with drummer and improviser Dave King and a local percussionist, alongside two free community workshops on songwriting and improvisation. All events are open to the public.
