Maj. Fredric Arnold (ret.) was the sole surviving member of his WWII P-38 Class of 42J Group and created a Monumental Bronze Sculpture in Memory of the more than 88,000 WWII US Airman Killed in Action.
This amazing monument is comprised of twelve life-size bronze figures and is now prominantly displayed at the main entrance of the National WWII Museum in New Orleans where it will be viewed by more than a million visitors per year. A second exhibit, comprised of three figures, four of Major Arnold's combat drawings and an informative video is on display at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver, Colorado. Arnold's work is destined to achieve national recognition as it educates generations to come about the nature of dedication and sacrifice that was the hallmark of his generation.
