It's been a tough year. If you're like me, you could use something positive and inspirational and uplifting to look forward to.
Maybe we can help.
Lightning House Players wants to be a force for positive change. Our mission focuses on producing works of theatre for social justice that uplifts and inspires people while fostering empathy and healing for individuals and communities.
About the Show
Before COVID, we were working to bring an uplifting story to inspire audiences of all ages. In this timeless, and timely, musical fantasy, a teen struggles to free her father and save her community by discovering and mastering her father's secret to blowing magical glass. This original, two-act musical -- The Glassblower’s Daughter: An American Fairy Tale -- will inspire people of all ages by its story of a young woman who finds her voice and the courage to stand up to injustice in her community.
We had originally planned to premiere our first show this fall, then COVID had other plans!
But ... THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
Undaunted, we switched gears, contacted a recording studio, and decided to stream a reading of the show with music for October 2020!
It's been an ambitious venture, and we want to do it right!
We need your help!
