Filmed over three years, Queen of Darts is an intimate portrait of master ceramic artist Lisa Naples as she moves beyond functional pottery to create a new body of large-scale sculpture for her first solo museum exhibition, surrounded by a growing vibrant community in her rural New Jersey studio. Through close-ups of her process, conversations woven into daily work, and reflections on family, labor, and creativity, the film explores how artistic practice can shape not only objects, but the lives and communities around it. At its core, the film is drawn to the physical, intuitive act of making, the way Lisa's hands are in constant dialogue with the clay, shaping it into form, and the way that same impulse extends outward through the people and spaces around her.
