After a successful 1-night stint at the Miniball Festival in March, "Love you Love you Love you" has been invited to the Cannonball Festival* this September!

I began creating this solo solo show about dementia, mothering, and legacy almost a year ago. Early individual and foundational giving brought the first iteration of "Love you Love you Love you" ("Lyx3") to Miniball, where it played to over 100 people and received a standing ovation. This summer, the "Lyx3" team heads back into rehearsals to hone in on design, add more movement, experiment with structure, and expand moments of audience interaction. We'll be welcoming 4 new collaborators into our rehearsal process: sound designer, production designer, lighting designer, and stage manager. Our designers will join rehearsals early to push against existing material, provoke new writing from the creator-performer (me!), and create fully fleshed-out designs. Our stage manager will bring essential support and oversight to rehearsals and performances.
In this campaign I'm raising $6500, a portion of "Lyx3"'s overall expenses. This $6500 will pay specifically for a production designer and sound designer and cover the cost of show materials and equipment.
