LubDub.Theatre Company

Named for the stethographic sounds of a heartbeat, LubDub Theatre Co is a physical theatre company whose mission is to animate stories of science, magic, and myth. Guided by our focus on these three sources of inspiration, we nurture new performance at the intersections of dance, music, new writing, and immersive ritual. 

Five years ago, in response to landmark climate reports, we committed to developing environmental work. In pieces such as A Play For The Living In a Time of Extinction, The Magic Bullet, and On The Lawn, LubDub is striving to locate overarching global narratives of climate crisis within local and immediate contexts and to practice sustainable development and production.
