We are raising $23,500 by March 2027 to produce our second season of democratic theatre!
We are continuing to put our democratic working structure to the test while expanding our audience and elevating our production value with Balm In Gilead by Lanford Wilson, coming November 2026, and The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov in Spring 2027.

Founded in 2024, Lucien Theatre Company is a democratic devising ensemble that uses sociocratic structures to build rigorous, honest, provocative theatre without structural hierarchy.
Our goal of $23,500 supports the production of two full length plays with increased artist stipends from our past production of Romeo & Juliet and new collaborations with host rehearsal studios and theaters throughout the city.
