MG DanceArts exhibits the creative work of Marielis Garcia. Marielis strives to create works exhibiting vivid athleticism, technically demanding movement, and concepts that alter the audience’s perception of dance. Collaboration is a big part of MG DanceArts, Marielis works with dancers, musicians, filmmakers and visual artists to create innovative theater pieces that reveal the way people connect to themselves and the world at large. From the inception of a new work, Marielis and her collaborators are mindful to present work in innovative ways that may include a gallery setting, public spaces, schools, theaters, online video media or live streaming. MG DanceArts seeks to explore performance beyond the conventions of dance traditions to engage audiences in creative ways which enrich and free their perceptions of dance, visual arts, music, filmmaking, and technology.
