This project will preserve Michel Auder’s video works from the 1980s and 1990s, transferring them from fragile, obsolete media to secure, accessible digital formats. The initiative will ensure the long-term preservation of a significant body of experimental moving-image art while supporting future research, teaching, and public screenings. By creating a sustainable digital archive, the project expands public access to Auder’s work and contributes to the ongoing dialogue between media preservation, contemporary art, and cultural history.
