Middle Spaces Conversation Lab is a half-day professional development workshop for 20 emerging New Orleans visual artists aged 21 to 25, focused on grant writing, artist residency applications, and building a sustainable arts practice. Grounded in Universal Design for Learning principles, the session pairs multi modal instruction with in-session practice, peer community building, and facilitation by working New Orleans arts professionals. This pilot is the inaugural public program of Middle Spaces, a statewide nonprofit studio and mentorship ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between arts education and professional practice for Louisiana artists aged 17 to 25.
