The Milwaukee Vision Project (MVP) is a collaborative, multi-media initiative that aims to create a shared vision for the city of Milwaukee.
Built from the stories, insights, and ideas of individual Milwaukeans, the Milwaukee Vision Project will create a layered, emergent narrative that guides how we view and shape the city from the past, the present, and into the future.
MVP is equal parts: portrait series, creative digital placemaking, and deep research. The ultimate objective is to understand what the people of Milwaukee see, believe, want, need, and can imagine for their city.
One of the primary purposes of the Milwaukee Vision Project is to create a channel for new voices to be heard and contextualized when thinking about what can and should happen in our city.
We believe accurate representation is critical. So you can expect to see our storytellers reflect the demographics of the city across lines of race, geography, gender, age, industry, and lived experience.
