This is a play about being a foreigner in Mexico City, about
trying to be a hero without looking inwards first, about finding love
but abandoning it because of the tragic human impulses that drive us
in the wrong direction... and about avocados. A classic noir plot
meets contemporary themes of masculinity, political economy, and love
in the times of globalization.
My play has three dates in January 2027 at the LATEA theater and I am seeking funds for actor stipends, rehearsal space, and video recording.
