Movement Reservoir Dance Company

Movement Reservoir was founded by Lachan Niedbala to provide a creative outlet for artists and increase the Kalamazoo community’s awareness of dance. Movement Reservoir creates a place for artists to express their artistic voices through dance while challenging themselves to grow in an uplifting environment. Additionally, it provides the Kalamazoo area with more opportunities to experience dance from various artists throughout the Midwest.

Movement Reservoir produces a dance concert annually that showcases choreography from dancers both within Michigan and outside of Michigan, to be presented to the Kalamazoo community. Movement Reservoir desires to create opportunities to showcase artistry both within their company and those who are in their community and beyond. The Kalamazoo area is full of art and we want to add more awareness to the ever-evolving dance scene here. Your donation will support us in areas including but not limited to, MRDC dancers' salaries, theatre rentals, videography and photography costs, traveling guest artists' fees, hiring necessary staff, programs and posters, and anything else that enables us to continue producing more content for the Kalamazoo area.
