About

A lifetime passion for Film Music was the inspiration for this project. The journey began with a desire to hear film music played live, especially unknown and obscure works.  Our first concert was the music of Elmer Bernstein and Jerry Goldsmith held in our back yard.   A series of annual private concerts ensued, until an opportunity to collaborate with The Autry Museum of the American West arose.  The first concert there, The Music of Ennio Morricone, sold out two performances. The success, and audience response, validated our belief that people would enjoy delving into the music of film composers.  Another sold out concert at the Autry Museum happened in January 2020, this time The Music of Elmer Bernstein.

Many of the performers in our ensemble regularly play on film scoring sessions, and share the same passion for this musical art form.  Additionally, our concert host introduces each piece, sharing a little about the composer’s work and the film, adding context and greater appreciation.

We’re a bit away from our ultimate goal for a physical space, but the unique format of our concerts serves our mission to honor and explore these unique creative artists.

We appreciate your interest and support of this endeavor!
