National Arts Diversity Integration Association (NADIA) is a non-profit organization based in New York City dedicated to coordinating the research, development, and implementation of industry-wide anti-discriminatory practices. Founded in 2020 after a series of meetings to discuss the impact of the death of George Floyd, the group began as a platform for creatives to discuss the implications of recent events on the arts industry. Initially, the group used insights from interviews with students, administrators, educators, and other community leaders to design sustainable and equitable solutions for use within arts institutions. By specializing in the area of solutions-based discussion, NADIA has served as a think-tank for a diverse group of project leaders and artists who are looking to think critically and discover new ways to share their talents with the public.
