New Musical and Play Development Programs

Aggregate Collective hosts the annual "The Loop Festival” in residence at The Hivve in Grants Pass, Oregon. 

The Loop Festival cultivates the development of Young Adult Theatre by featuring staged readings of new plays written specifically for young people to perform. "The Loop Festival" will allow participants to connect with professional actors, directors and playwrights from across the country, and be a part of the birth of a new play crafted specifically for young actors. Young artists participate in a multi day development process acting as cultural consultants responding to the writing. At the end of the rehearsal process, the young actors will present the reading of the play to an in person audience. After each reading presentation, facilitators ask the audience to respond to specific questions and those responses help the writer make discoveries that may inform the next iteration of the play.
