The mission of new words {press} is to elevate emerging and established trans* and gender-expansive poetic voices, to build community, and share knowledge. We do this through publication of a professional poetry/hybrid journal three times per year, chapbook publication, readings, workshops and other events and publications. new words {press} plans to begin publishing full length books by trans* and gender-expansive poets in the future.
