Our Mision...
New World Theatre is devoted to helping playwrights nurture their inspirations, develop their early drafts through readings and workshops, create opportunities to see their new plays fully produced for the first time, and ultimately publish works that are ready to be shared with the world of theatre.
When You Contribute
Your generous contributions to NWT help to support our ongoing efforts to...
- Engage one-on-one with playwrights and provide dramaturgical support.
- Produce staged workshop presentations of new works in development.
- Produce fully staged productions of new works.
- Publish collections of monologues and short works, as well as full-length plays.
Here are just some of our current and ongoing projects.

08:46 Monologue Performances
As part of our initiative to give voice to black writers and performers, we have produced video performances of some of the monologues in our recent publication. These are available on our
youtube channel.
Building a Socially Conscious Theatre Community
In light of the murder of George Floyd and the resulting social unrest that gripped our country and the world in 2020, New World Theatre is taking a stand with all who acknowledge that racism is a problem that continues to harm and kill people of color.
