Non de Gen

Non de Gen is a multidisciplinary production company at the intersection of live performance, music, and film. Our broad mission is to build worlds which seamlessly integrate media to expand the human experience in community.

We create both original works and customized curated experiences.

Our DTLA popup performance space housed concerts, installations, theatre works and events. We currently produce popup experiences in Los Angeles and beyond. 

We are a fiercely inclusive company and actively work to promote spaces which celebrate our mantra of "No genre, no gender, no generation!"

As creators, our central thrust is performance work that explores existential, psycho-spiritual and communal topics and experiences.

Developing works include Apsis Requiem, an operatic theatrical fantasy exploring grief in community; The Chromachasm, a one-shot operatic short film based on a shamanic journey; 21:1, a scored small-ensemble exploration of human consciousness through the lens of the Major Arcana of the Tarot.
