NORMAL is an animated documentary short film built from more than forty interviews with people ranging in age from eight to eighty-four and brought to life via vibrant hand-drawn animation. It is an intimate, collective portrait of how we learn to inhabit and then abandon our bodies, tracing the moments when self-awareness turns into self-surveillance and when nourishment becomes moralized as virtue or failure.
