Nour aims to draw the audience through the experience of my grandmother growing up in a somewhat idyllic levant, while issues bubble under the surface. As they culminate in a pointless civil war in Lebanon in 1975, she is forced to leave to America and start life over again - bittersweet, complex. I seek to create experience through this album, versus commentary.
