Now Musique – A new chamber music series celebrating the recital format of new and neglected compositions with outstanding international artists. Based in Dorchester, Now Musique has a commitment to the community, formal programs are previewed in schools, libraries, and theaters as enrichment programs and open free to the public. Building cultural bridges and with a commitment to art that represents today, the performances showcase new music premieres and invite composers to attend and interact with the audience. Using music and dialogue to explore our communities and our individual dreams, we create understanding while remaining curious to the now in our world.

The August-November 2022 concerts are free, open to the public, and lasting under an hour. All-ages are welcome to attend with each concert being an introduction and exploration of the music for guitar. The programs are built around Aaron's New Lullaby Project, with many composers present, and will feature Aaron's own compositions as well. Audience members who  wear pajamas for concerts will receive a New Lullaby Project sticker!

Your support will assist with commissions, bringing composers to concerts, touring, venue rental, and artist fees. Come and experience life in the Arts with Now Musique!

Aaron Larget-Caplan – Composer, arranger, and international classical guitarist, who has premiered over 110 compositions, and directs and curates the New Lullaby Project and the ¡Con Fuego! Spanish music & dance ensemble. His arrangements and recording of the music of John Cage are issued by Edition Peters and Stone Records, and the first to be sanctioned by the estate, have received international accolades. He has nine solo albums, including his own compositions on honey cadence (April 2022), and God’s Time – Music of J.S. Bach on Guitar (September 2022).
