I'm seeking funding for a rites of passage story in the sports drama genre. We've seen stories like Creed and Remember the Titans, but there has never been a story like this told from the lens of a queer person of color. I feel now it the time to tell that story and bring full visibility and empowerment to individuals who that been through a time in their lives that they felt they couldn't live their truth out of fear of what would happen if they chose to live in that power.
