About

Thank you to all who so graciously and generously donated to my cello campaign. As of May of 2014, I was able to officially purchase the cello. With the committed help of your donations and the help of a private lender, I was able to complete the purchase.
Thank you!

Your donation is an investment in me as I launch my career and will help me to fulfill my vision of bridging diversity and connecting humanity through inspired music making.

I am inspired by other people’s stories and I want to use my music to help LGBT youth and children with autism tell theirs.
Both groups, bound by social stigmas and communication barriers, deserve to have a voice, however it comes out, and I want to use my music to liberate their stories, moving and inspiring others, and creating a more unified, inspired planet.

I thank you in advance for your donation and investment in my career and vision.

ABOUT ME

Having recently graduated with the highest honors and distinction from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2013, I have now launched my professional career and I am seeking to acquire a cello that has the magnificent and essential qualities for a concert soloist and chamber musician.

As the Grand Prize Winner of multiple competitions, I have been the Featured Soloist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony, the Reno Chamber Orchestra and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Orchestra.

In May, I will be serving as a U.S. Music Ambassador, touring through Hungary, Kosovo and Russia with the Cello Street Quartet and singer/songwriter Matt Alber. We are grateful for this opportunity provided to us by the American Music Abroad program and the U.S. Department of State.

ABOUT THE CELLO

I am raising funds to acquire an exquisite,
19th Century French cello. This cello is marked by an incredible presence, a huge, penetrating and warm sound, and a captivating vocal intensity.
An instrument of this caliber is absolutely critical to my continued development and success as a concert artist.

The infinite depth this cello holds, in sound, color, and voice will allow me to refine my skills and deepen my expression-better than with any other cello. As other instruments reach their "limit", this cello is limitless and thus will allow me to express the ever-infinite colors of music and emotion to move and inspire this world.
