Open Door Shakespeare

. Open Door Shakespeare is a new and upcoming theater company in Los Angeles, CA that

creates productions focused on highlighting the history of LGBTQIA+ communities and featuring all Femme/Non-Binary casts. Our core ensemble met while taking classes at Los Angeles’ Independent Shakespeare Company and have a deep love for Shakespeare’s text, history and each other! Our Inaugural production of Macbeth was a spooky and Sapphic production performed at the Idle Hour bar that fully embraced the comedy of the text. Friends and critics called it “liberated”, “brilliant” and “an audacious risk that was a roaring success.”
