Open Ground Studios is an oasis for self-expression through the artistic soul; we are a safe-haven for the novice, an ally for the professional artist and entrepreneur, and a home for the creative adult. A place where art is the vehicle for learning, practice and connection. 
 
 The driving force behind the founding of Open Ground Studios is the belief that creative expression and practice is inherent to the wellbeing of humanity. And by nature, we all want to thrive and express ourselves uniquely, in this amazing and beautiful place: the Monterey Peninsula. Open Ground Studios is poised to serve our local community of life-long learners, creative adults and artists by offering high quality arts experiences that promote excellence and sustainability in the business of being an artist. Our 2000 SF facility houses shared printmaking and painting studios, as well as 7 dedicated spaces for individuals.
