Opera Hispánica is the premier opera company in the United States exclusively to celebrate and to promote opera and vocal works centered around the Latin American and Spanish experience. Opera Hispánica’s mission is to empower Latin artists and develop our communities through groundbreaking cultural productions and musical content. 

Opera Hispánica supports inclusion and diversity by giving a voice to Latin artists and creators. We are a platform that produces and develops cultural content that represents our heritage, passions and believes.

 Our goal is to facilitate the development, creation and performance of socially relevant content from the operatic and lyric repertoire to allow opera companies and performing arts organizations to present diverse programming and to reach traditionally underrepresented audiences.

Opera Hispánica is committed to producing several dynamic and groundbreaking productions of Hispanic operas to be presented throughout America. Opera Hispánica’s mission is as clear as it is relevant: to present operas that are either in the Spanish language, are written by a Hispanic or Latin composer, and/or are inspired by Latin American themes and topics.
