This campaign has ended, but you can still support The Orlando Traveling Memorial here! Tickets to the Chicago opening on Friday October 12th can be purchased at the door.

The Orlando Traveling Memorial (OTM) artwork is complete and now it's time to honor the lives both lost and touched by this tragedy. With your help, their voices and memories can live on as we share their stories across the country! CHICAGO's Center on Halsted is the first travel stop for the Memorial, hosting the art from Oct. 12- Nov. 23, 2018 at the end of LatinX Heritage Month.

BACKGROUND: Family members and loved ones painted 49 portraits of their own loved ones who passed in a paint by numbers style. The “I am a Handprint” of helpers in the Pulse aftermath collected 100's of handprints from survivors, first responders, police, medical personnel, officials, local citizens and community members. Handprints were incorporated into the art and over 1000 people have come together to carry out the OTM mission: Action brings healing through Art and Faith coming together in times of Tragedy.

This is a campaign to raise funds for replica printing of the 49 portraits, shipping/travel costs, OTM overhead and non-profit operating expenses. Founder and visionary for this project, Colleen Ardaman has given thousands of dollars to launch this beautiful initiative. This fundraiser is to take the burden off volunteers and keep the OTM vision alive by beginning the TRAVEL portion of this journey. Check out this Memorial installation video and see the impact your donation will make as the OTM travels across the country. All donations are eligible for tax deduction and automated tax receipts are emailed to donors via Fractured Atlas. Come join something greater than yourself and bigger than all it’s parts! Thank you for reading about the Orlando Traveling Memorial.
