About

The helicopters over Pasadena leave traces: flight data, scattered and incomplete, owned by agencies that decide what the public gets to see. What they do not leave is a record of noise, of disturbance, of the lived experience on the ground. That record has been missing. One artist has built the prototype that will close the gap: a working system that pairs community audio recordings with open‑source flight paths and turns each pass into a Witness Print, evidence anyone will be able to download once the platform launches to the public. The prototype functions. It has been tested in the studio with neighbors and visitors. It awaits public launch. This campaign funds precisely that transition: a stable platform every resident can use in seconds, a receiver network across the city, free community listening events, and an open‑source toolkit any community can adopt. Your support carries this archive from a single vantage point into the commons.
