The Panther Patrol book project is a literary project that blends LGBTQ+ history with personal memoir about New York City´s short-lived community anti-violence project The Pink Panthers, of which I was a volunteer during 1991-92. My hope is that this book project can help capture some of New York´s LGBTQ history, as well as serve as a model for contemporary resistance against contemporary queer violence.
