About

The longest-serving cultural attraction in the Bronx, the historic 1929 Loew’s Paradise movie palace, is being renewed and reimagined to reopen in 2027 as The Paradise Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, which will help transform both a landmark theater and its neighborhood and deliver world-class arts to New York City’s most culturally-underserved borough. 97 years in the making, The Paradise Performing Arts Center is the second largest theater in New York City after Radio City Music Hall and now has a new, updated mission: to present a range of artistic voices that mirror the community and expand access to the arts to the widest possible audience.
