PAULINE RETROGRADE is a short film about a woman jettisoned through time and space to be reunited with her late mother, astrophysicist Pauline, in a kind of cosmic limbo. But grief is not straightforward, and we encounter many Paulines – different memories and experiences of the relationship between parent and child through the kaleidoscopic lens of loss.
