Peacebuilding Connections

Peacebuilding Connections and Bob the Peacebuilder help schools, campuses, cities, and community groups build the relationships and clarity needed to take meaningful action together. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: communities don’t fail because people don’t care — they struggle because people are disconnected. Our projects bring people into relationship across political, cultural, and economic divides so they can move from confusion to clarity, and from isolation to collective action.

Bob helps teams understand their full community ecosystem — people, power, narratives, and resources — and designs strategies that strengthen cross-sector relationships. Through facilitation, coalition building, agenda setting, and leadership development, communities walk away with shared purpose, aligned direction, and the momentum to move forward together.

These hands-on sessions teach participants how their ecosystem actually works. Using stakeholder mapping, systems thinking, and relationship and power analysis, groups learn where they fit, how systems interact, and where leverage points exist. Participants leave with practical tools they can use immediately — clarity, strategy, and a deeper understanding of how to organize for the common good.

Bob brings art into public life as a tool to spark dialogue, connection, and belonging. The Declarations of Interdependence invite people to sign the artwork if they agree to end violence, end prejudice, and achieve respect for all. Each signature creates a moment of engagement, conversation, and reflection about what kind of community we want to build. These participatory art projects deepen empathy, strengthen civic relationships, and turn shared values into visible collective action.
