People 4 People Productions uses Film Media Literacy Education to equip New York City high school community leaders with the 21st-Century skills they need to thrive in our new digital age. Our
smartphone filmmaking mobile programs equip youth inside and outside the classroom with the skills they need to; think critically about media, earn middle-class wages, gain entry into college and/or art programs, and help build the communities they live and work in using the modern smartphone.
Students learn how to work in production teams to create videos that communicate powerfully, effectively, and in a collective voice about the critical issues we face and their visions for how to impact change exponentially.
100% of the funds raised will be used to provide the
NYC Mayo'rs Youth Filmmaker Leadership Council with the tools and training they need to create new media that informs, lifts, inspires, and builds New York City's neighboring communities.
