CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Thanks to your support, we blew past our initial goal in the first 24 hours of our campaign! We are now in a position to send this issue to print at full volume, but we still have other operating expenses which each donation helps to cover.
We are now working toward a new stretch goal: raising a total of
$12,000 by December 15th. This will allow us to begin commissioning for our subsequent magazine issue, as well as cover printing a new zine on queer Palestine to be released early next year. Every pre-order you place directly funds the budget we'll work with, so the more you donate the more gay communism we can think together.
PINKO UPDATEAfter a long period of work on our recently published book
After Accountability, the Pinko collective is thrilled to announce our return to magazine production.
ISSUE 3Please secure your copies of our forthcoming Issue 3 through this pre-sale. With your help, we’re aiming to secure 300 orders by mid-December, enabling us to send the issue to print.
CONTENTSThe issue features reflections on the current wave of anti-trans politics, consent, Black lesbian sex, sexual liberalism, Black revolt, gay people in the labor force, political violence and accountability culture, with new essays by Ariel Ajeno, Max Fox, Tiana Reid, and Nsámbu Za Suékama, plus interviews, roundtables, archival materials, and beautiful illustrations by KT Pe Benito.
PRE-ORDER DETAILSIf you purchase a print issue for yourself or a loved one as a gift, we'll send you a special receipt and a full PDF of the issue in time for Xmas. The print copy itself will ship early 2024.
FUNDSThe Pinko collective is run by volunteers. All funds are used for commissioning writers and artists, costs of printing, web maintenance and event production. Any amount you contribute above the suggested amounts during this campaign will go towards paying artists for our next issue, producing a zine on queer Palestine early next year, and speakers' fees for the coming year's panels and workshops.
