Placid Drive is my second studio album, a post-minimalist concept work that reimagines Plato’s Allegory of the Cave through a modern lens. Scored for eight female vocalists, three cellos, two violas, and electronics derived entirely from the performers themselves, the project explores the tension between technology and the natural world. Designed as a single, continuous composition that can be experienced both forward and in reverse, the album functions as a meditation on truth, perception, and balance in an increasingly digital society. With the recording process largely complete, this project focuses on bringing the work to the public through professional promotion, distribution, and a planned vinyl release, ensuring broad access and meaningful engagement with its themes.
