Plexus Projects is an artist-run space for intersectional ideas founded by artist
Laura Splan. Programming is presented both online and in the project space located in Splan’s Brooklyn art studio.
Exhibitions and Residencies have represented local and international artists including Caitlin Berrigan, Lee Tusman, Sophie Kahn, Federico Cuatlacuatl, Snow Yunxue Fu, Alex Lee, Gail Wight, Eric Souther, Liss LaFleur, Carla Knopp, Fernanda Bertero, James Bascara, Maggie Hazen, James Proctor, Jason Isolini, Yefeng Wang, Mark Ramos, Luke Seward, Adriene Jenik, Dakota Gearhart, Timothy Earl Neill, and others.
Plexus Projects also maintains
Earmark, a curated collection of artist editions and publications including zines, books, catalogs, vinyl, and ephemera. The collection includes work by Katie Garth, Candace Williams, James Bascara, Jess Woods, Shane Smith, Brett Wallace, Reuben Lorch-Miller, Fritz Welch, Chris Duncan, Dawn Light Blackman, 57 Cell, Jen Smith, Victoria Manganiello, and others.
Additional funding is needed to support operations expenses and artist awards for upcoming in person gallery exhibitions, workshops, residencies, and events. Previous funding has included a grant from Unnamed Fund which supported the 2023 Virtual Virtual Residency Award.
