Poet in the Park

 

Poet in the Park is an independent publisher that provides poetry performances for the public on the streets and in the parks of New York City.  

 

In 2012, Garrett Buhl Robinson began setting up his bookstand in the parks of New York City to perform his poetry.  Through the years, he has continued to compose new works, self-publish his books, promote his publications and perform his poetry from his bookstand.  This has also led to the adaptation of some of his books for theater which he has produced, directed, promoted and performed Off-Broadway in solo shows.  From his little bookstand, he has managed to establish an international fan base which he broadens every day with every person he meets on the streets of New York City.
