I want to create an art pop up that feels like browsing in a video store. Instead of countless films, it will be filled with 8x10 visual art. It will be a chance for local artists to show their work at a reasonable price to people that want to buy their work. It will bring different art communities from our city together and help build relationships. It will give local musicians a chance to be heard by a new audience and film students to show their films to people that would otherwise not see them.
The vibe is everything. I want to really give people a different art experience than they are used to. Something that feels nostalgic, but also brings them something new.
