My project intends to catapult curiosity around the human condition of grief and how loss can look all sorts of ways. I hope to make something that disrupts our understanding of why we mourn the way we do and also highlights the power of our thoughts and that how we see things can inform us of what we may be feeling about them. My project intends to challenge what closeness means when it's not a good thing. I hope overall, Op La can serve as a profound, yet brief display of how beautiful our mystery aches can be, even if it erupts from something ugly.
