Proof of Hand is an artist-led project in Columbus, Ohio, exploring what gets lost when a finished image is separated from the human process that made it. Through paid artist sessions and a new body of paintings, the project asks what artists should be able to retain once a machine can read and reproduce their work. It shares what it learns as a free public report and guidelines.
